Ben Juodvalkis: Composer, Sound Designer, Musician, Educator

Ben Juodvalkis is a San Francisco-based composer who has spent over 20 years creating original music for dance, film, theater, and multimedia installations. His work has been performed on four continents and features partnerships with more than 50 organizations, including Lines Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance, Bandaloop, and Joe Goode Performance Group.

Blending traditional sounds with electronic production, Ben designs custom electronic instruments to bring his compositions to life for dancers. He is also the creator of Maestro Modern, a music platform specifically designed for dance teachers and performers.

Ben's expertise spans composition, performance, record production, sound design, and music direction, and he holds a BA in Music from UC Santa Cruz. A founding member of the rock band Battlehooch, he continues to mentor students, champion collaborative creativity, and push the boundaries of the performing arts.
