Val Caniparoli · San Francisco Ballet (TBC)
A ballet for eight dancers by Val Caniparoli about emerging from pandemic isolation, premiered in San Francisco Ballet's next@90 festival of new works in January 2023. It is set to Dobrinka Tabakova's Concerto for Cello and Strings. Ben created the sound design, a sound collage delivered in several versions; reviews describe an aural opening of static over a faint heartbeat with voiceovers about living through COVID.
