Fog Beast — SF Trolley Dances

Melecio Estrella and Andrew Ward (Fog Beast)

A roughly six-minute site-specific dance film for the all-online 17th San Francisco Trolley Dances, made at the Dogpatch Ropewalk park, which honors the historic Tubbs Cordage rope factory. Conceived as a single traveling shot down the rope walk from Third Street to Angel Alley, it moves through three sections: it opens on Ben playing melodica as Melecio Estrella sings and dances, shifts to Melecio singing over Ben's guitar, and ends with the dancers gathered around Ben's drum set. Ben wrote and produced the score, mixing the live sound with studio recording.
