Joe Goode after-concert set

Ben Juodvalkis · Joe Goode Performance Group

A 30-minute concert Ben and Melecio Estrella played in the Haas-Lilienthal House right after the closing-weekend Thursday show of Joe Goode's Still Standing, under projected visuals. The set: a cover of Rihanna's Love on the Brain, Change Theme, All the Sounds, Infect U with Patricia West, and Caroline Alexander reprising her song from Fog Beast's CHANGE.

Caroline Song, live with Caroline and Mele

Recollections

“This was such a capstone to a furious creative waterslide. Writing all those songs for Still Standing, recording the album (what!) and then throwing this righteous afterparty. Maybe this was my peak?

It was fun and loose and silly. I really liked the projections on top.”
