Killer Queen: The Story of Paco the Pink Pounder

A solo theater piece, structured in 'rounds' like a boxing match, that follows Paco, 'the Pink Pounder', a fictional gay boxer, from childhood conflicts with family, school and church through coming out and his later struggles as a gay person of color. For the new production Ben is composing original and incidental music and sound design, working from scene recordings, Peter's voice tracks and reference tracks.

- Earlier versions of the play, without Ben's music: a one-man musical staged by Peter Griggs at 8106 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, from June 3, 2011 (directed by Wolfgang Lancelot Wachalovsky, choreography by Cason MacBride), and a staging at Mike's Gym shortly before Ben joined (Peter shared a videographer's clip in Aug 2025).
